Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se movie story – An honest ayurvedic practitioner is troubled by giant pharma companies to steal his age-old formula of medicine named as Vajra Kawach. The medicine has the power to cure every problem from a pimple to impotency. But for how long the practitioner can keep his secret pill only to himself for the use of the poor.

Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se movie review – In the movie, Sunny Deol is acting the character of Vaidya Puran who remains silent most of the time, but when his strength is tested he proves himself in that. Sometimes, he cures the poor at his honest dawakhana and sometimes he shows off his power by bringing tractors to grinding halt. Puran has much respect in the city as he serves for the poor. But his younger brother kaala acted by Bobby Deol is a bachelor of age 40 years who dreams to live a high-class life in Canedda (Canada). Dharmendra is playing the character of a flamboyant lawyer Jayant Parmar who rides a sidecar scooter and flirts with imaginary fairies. These trips are generally very different from each other, but they came together for one incident.

The movie puts forward its brand with a brand new story and latest characters as well. It once again highlighted the Deol brand of entertainment.

The movie is charmed with Dharmendra’s evergreen screen presence. His antics made the sitting judge floor inside a full courtroom. With Sunny Deol’s punches, the bad guys are handled well. In the film, screenspace of Bobby Deol was enough to stand out, but it flopped with his repetitive humor and his puzzled acting. The main heroine of the film Kriti Kharbanda looked glamorous but didn’t have the charm in her acting. The movie has missed many comic milestones though it had traveled a long way from Punjab to Gujarat. There are so many hilarious moments and comic timings in the movie. Lol, moments add much humor to the film. In the first courtroom scene, Dharmendra and Shatrughan Sinha are seen in a hilarious moment with funny punchlines and comic timings. The other characters are also very funny with different caricatures. Johny Lever, Asrani, Satish Kaushik are also hilarious in their characters.

Overall, the movie YPD 3 is a loud comedy film which bears the brand of its previous parts with all new story and characters as well. But the second half of the movie is very boring and drops all the excitement as it is very much predictable. You will enjoy the movie if you are a die-hard fan of the Deols’.

Box Office – The film is the 3rd part of the Yamla Pagla Deewana franchise. Dharmendra and his Deol sons starrer movie have managed to earn RS6.82 crore on the first day of the show. It is clashing on the same day with the horror-comedy movie Stree starring Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. Earlier the film was expected to earn Rs4-4.5 crore in the box office.
